Recording Portfolio

I have studied Recording Arts and Sciences at the Peabody Institute for 5 years. Since then, I have been working live sound for both corporate and music events. I also supplement this live engineering by doing independent postproduction; recording, mixing and mastering projects on my own. I am well-versed in a wide variety of microphone specs / mic placement techniques, signal flow through pre-amplifiers, compressors, limiters, tape machines, and various other DSP audio effects.

Please reach out to me on my “Contact” page here for any specific inquiries!

Classical RecordingS

I have engaged with some simple chamber recordings for classical music. Below are some various examples from the past couple of years, with the chamber pieces recorded at Friedberg Hall at the Peabody Institute

I have advanced knowledge of computer software DAW’s for engineering which include:

  • Pro Tools

  • Logic

  • Ableton Live

  • Adobe Audition

  • Reaper

  • Pyramix

  • Audacity

  • Sibelius

  • Other Custom DAWs

I am always willing to enhance, mix, or master any kind of audio material. I have worked with all sorts of audio media ranging from sound installations, to podcasts and short films. I am flexible in working with any contemporary style, and always passionate with my craft to put forward the most polished material.

Podcast Production and Editing

I have done recordings for podcasts on my own, as well as for friends and colleagues of mine. I can edit together music, speech, and sampled material for podcasts and other type of long-form audio media. I would provide acoustic consulting and advice for equipment and setup with recording your podcast. I edit to splice out any silences or noises, provide transitional music and material, treat any background noise out of the mix with RX and equalization, add dynamic effects such as compressors to keep the audio levels more even, and I am highly flexible with any kind of editing requests for the podcast.

I can also provide help with publishing and hosting your podcast. There are hosting cheap plans I would recommend with Libsyn.com, but I can additionally publish to Soundcloud.com as well as Archive.org for a higher-quality backup.
